Deaf Awareness Day

On Friday 16th June the HS-ARP (Hearing Support - Additionally Resourced Provision) enjoyed hosting Deaf Awareness Day. The children from the ARP taught their friends all about hearing aids and cochlear implants. Classes also learned about superpowers, Rose Ayling-Ellis and enjoyed Q&A sessions with the ARP. Some children got the chance to sign with one of our Deaf Tutors, Mary Fallon (who herself is profoundly deaf), and we had a Celebration Assembly where the Signing Choir performed and made us all very proud.
