Community Support Helps Our School Allotment Flourish

Thank you to our amazing Community Partners for supporting our school allotment
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has helped transform our school allotment with the installation of a fantastic new shed.
A special thank you goes to Jewson Aylesbury, who generously donated the new shed. This wonderful addition will provide valuable storage for our gardening equipment and resources, helping us to make the most of our outdoor learning space for years to come.
We are also incredibly grateful to Grant & Stone, who kindly donated the materials needed to create a solid base for the shed. Their support ensured the shed could be installed safely and securely.
A huge thank you must also go to the volunteers from Defaqto, who chose to spend their volunteering day at our school. The team worked tirelessly to remove the old shed, clear the surrounding area, and prepare the site for the new installation. They became so invested in the project that they even gave up some of their own personal time to help build the new shed. Their enthusiasm, hard work, and generosity have made a real difference, and we are incredibly appreciative of their support.
Our allotment continues to thrive, providing pupils with hands-on opportunities to learn about growing fruit, vegetables, and flowers while developing an understanding of nature, sustainability, and healthy living.
We've also included some recent photographs of the plants currently growing on the allotment so that parents can see how well everything is flourishing. We hope you enjoy seeing the progress our pupils have made and the wonderful outdoor space they continue to nurture.
On behalf of everyone at the school, thank you once again to Jewson Aylesbury, Grant & Stone, and the fantastic volunteers from Defaqto. Your kindness and community spirit have helped create a lasting resource that will benefit our children for many years to come.
